She was predeceased by: her husband Demetrio G. Aguayo; her parents, Pedro Cardona and Filomena Garcia; and her siblings, Heriberto Cardona, Pedro Cardona and Gloria Colon.
She is survived by: her friend Demetrio Aguayo; her children, Luis Sanchez of Puerto Rico, Lydia Sanchez of Ft. Mitchell, Oscar Aguayo of Houston, Eric Aguayo (Christine) of Phenix City, Carmen Gonzalez Edwin Aguayo (Henry) of Lorain and Frank Aguayo (Mildred) of Lorain; her grandchildren, Brian Aguayo, Adrian Aguayo, Omar Santiago (DeAnna), Jason Gonzalez, Eric Diaz, Raquel Rosa (Luis), Tiffany Franks, Alexis Rodriguez (Ray) and Alena Aguayo; and her niece Sonia Colon. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
