She was predeceased by: her husband Donald William Swartz; and her siblings, Ray Tucker and Beverly Chitwood. She is survived by: her children, James Swartz (Sharon) of Elyria and Hicks of Lorain; her grandchildren, Lauren Fortner, Peyton Sears, Chase Swartz, Katie Leary and Michael Leary; and her brother Ron. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
