She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry F. Cole and Ora L. Cole; her former husband Thomas Scruggs; her husband Herman Tucker; and her godfather Reverend Eddy N. Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Kevis Maurice Cole-Scruggs and Tasheca O. B. Scruggs Young (Antonio); her grandsons, I'Mere Maurice Scruggs Seljan and Dominique Rice; her cousin Lennie Smallwood; her goddaughter Sharon McDonald Butler (Steven); her close friends, Queenie Marsh, Barbara Epps, Regina Tuck and Janice Scruggs; and her godchildren, Eddie Jamar, Capree McMillian, Ivory Isaiah, Juvan Holton, Kieran Jones, DeUndra Dupree and Shalisa Williams. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, spiritual mentors, cousins and friends.
