She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Higgins; her parents, Dezso Giran and Anna Giran; her brothers, David and Richard Giran; her son-in-law Steve Dury; her nephew Douglas Giran; and her niece Debra Giran.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Dury (Ray Cogdell) and Jennifer Fayer (Chip); and her grandchildren, Stephen Dury (Melissa Keyes), Audrey Fayer (Josh Collins) and George Fayer VI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
