He was predeceased by: his wife Rosaline; his grandsons, Brian Arthur Canty and John Colin Canty; and his son-in-law Paul Nicholoff. He is survived by: his children, Maria Dayka (James), Frank Astorino (Kaye Lynn), Linda Nicholoff, Gloria Canty (John) and Rita Owens (David); his grandchildren, Kristin Hospodar (Kevin), Matthew Dayka, Elizabeth Astorino, Andrew Nicholoff (Meredith), Steven Nicholoff (Kristen), Paula Hodges (Branden), Keegan Canty (Shannen Laur), Grant Canty, Patrick Owens (Katie) and Calise Owens (Jeremy Fitzgerald); his great grandchildren, Alice, Mary, Edward, Daniel Hospodar, Audrey Nicholoff, Benjamin and Lily Nicholoff; and his caregiver Leslie Buga. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations designated in Arthur's name be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church of Lorain, Ohio; the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, Ohio; or Cypress Hospice of Berea, Ohio.
