He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lakes; his parents, Willie B. Lakes and Rosemary Lakes; his daughter Chanelle Wilson; his stepdaughter Tina Simmons; his son Marshall Griffin; and his siblings, Anita, Anthony Lakes and Willie Lakes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
