She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Carter and Frances A. Carter Bryant; and her husband Joseph L. Rodgers. She is survived by: her grandmother Millie Anne Bishop; her daughter Laurie A. Rodgers of Lorain; her niece Arlinda Keaton; and her nephew Vernon Rodgers (Robin). She is also survived by friends including longtime friend.
Social distancing and masks are required. Private service for the family (due to COVID-19 restrictions) will follow immediately afterwards.
She was raised in a loving Christian family and "village" of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and family friends who instilled in her the values of faith, love, charity, education, self-sufficiency, and industry.
