It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann J Allen of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Luca and Stella Luca; her former husband Richard Bobek; her granddaughter Jessica Bobek; her brother Steven Luca; and her brother-in-law Larry Eiden.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Allen; her children, Laura Jones, Janis Baron, Tom Bobek (Audrey), Bob Bobek and Rick Bobek (Laura); her grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Krista Werling, Kayla Teague, Courtney Jones, Kelsey Shanks, Nick Jones, Blake Rotterdam, Meghan Whelan, Areal Jones, Emily Bobek, Anna Baron, Samantha Bobek, Charlie Baron, Tim Bobek and Will Bobek; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Brooklyn, Zachary, Hayden, Loxley, Jackson, Emmett, Hudson, Kinsley and Cora; her siblings, Rosemary Eiden, John Luca (Ellen) and Jim Luca (Debbie); her sister-in-law Elaine Luca; her stepsons, Tom Allen (Denise) and Tim Allen (Julia); and her stepgrandchildren, Nathan Allen, Andrew Allen and Alanna Allen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Parish (3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain, OH 44053). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Amherst Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 1442 (1165 Milan Ave, Amherst, OH 44001).
