He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Anna; his wife Catherine A. Schuffert; his son Thomas J. Schuffert; and his brother Edward J. Schuffert.
He is survived by: his children, William A. Schuffert of Avon, Sharron Powell (late Jerome) of Lorain, Andrea Weirich (Robert) of Lorain, Carolyn Mroski (Darryl) of Lorain and Mary Schuerger (John) of Tenn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
