He was predeceased by: his father Michael E. Garland; and his grandmothers, Mattie Horton and Lula Ransom. He is survived by: his mother Mary E. Skinner (Dennis); his siblings, Angell Gladden Sr. (Jamal), Rolondo Ransom and Alia Garland; his stepsiblings, Serina Kelley (Sam) and James Skinner (Emily); his nieces and nephews, B. J., Jadi Gladden, Jacob Walker of Xavier Champion, Z. J, Inchaurregui, Elijah Barker, Jadin Gladden, Anissa Ransom and Jasmyn Barker; and his grandfather Charles Ransom Sr.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.
The family is requiring attendees to the memorial service and repass to wear a mask covering nose and mouth.
