He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte; his sons, Marc Gencur, Eric Gencur, Paul and Sophia; and his sister Agnes Snell (David).
He is survived by: his brother Joseph Gencur of Lorain, OH. He is also survived by two nephews and five nieces and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or the Joliet Park District Recreational Center in his memory would be appreciated.
