She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph; her parents, Nicholas Smitek and Sophia Smitek; her grandchildren, Nikki Leah, Steven and Jean Debrah; and her siblings, Margaret Smith, Frank Smitek, Jim Smitek, Helen Mahl, George Smitek, Ed Smitek and Verne Dewald.

She is survived by: her sons, Gene Staveski (Debrah) of Lorain and Randy Staveski of Amherst; her grandchildren, Nancy Udovich (Terry) of Vermilion, Melissa Staveski-Kane (Bob), Joseph Staveski, Claire Staveski, Tony Udovich, Terra McAdams (Tyler), Ryan Staveski and Nathan Kane; and her siblings, John Smitek of Avon and Carolyn Forthofer of Elyria.
