She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kucera and Mildred Kraus Kucera; her husband Richard (Dick); her children, Deborah Northrup (Deb) and Richard Vales (Ric); and her grandson Eric Vales.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Vales (Rena) of Coolville and David Vales (Rhonda) of Long Bottom; her children-in-law, Joann Vales of Jenison, MI and John Northrup of Long Bottom; her grandchildren, Carey Soda (Chris) of Grand Rapid, MI, Renee Vales of Dorr, MI, Amanda Mays (Justin) of Parkersburg, WV, Michelle Jewell (Michael) of Tacoma, WA, Dana Vales (Ashley) of Lago Vista, TX, Cory Vales of Florence, TX and Joey Vales (Heaven) of Long Bottom; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Carter, Charli Soda, Ethan, Logan, Grady Vales, Brooklyn Vales and Riley Vales.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to Coolville United Methodist Church.
