It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randall Smith Jr. of Londonderry, Ohio, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Randal W. Smith and Julyna Scott Smith; his wife Laura Ankrom; his daughter Deborah Whittington; his son-in-law Herman Snyder; and his siblings, Charles Smith and Leah Jean Elliott.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy; his son-in-law John Venters of Londonderry; his grandchildren, Eric Snyder (Shannon) of Chillicothe, Melissa Carter (Scott) of Fairview, TN, Matthew Whittington (Andrea) of Ray, Patrick Whittington (Tiffany) of Chillicothe and Andrew Venters (Jessica) of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Jillian, Gavin Snyder, Chance, Laura Carter, Parker, Drake Whittington, Mason, Evelyn Whittington, Jack and Vonn Venters; his siblings, Dorthea Huffman of Chillicothe, Lavonne Rhoads of Waverly and Herbert Smith of Chillicothe; and his siblings-in-law, Willis, Laura Ankrom of McArthur, Wilner and Darlene Ankrom of Kenton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
