He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollen Edgar and Opal C. Swepston (Dawson); his wife Linda M. Swepston (Owens); his siblings, Lowell Swepston, Malvin Swepston, Wayne "Pete" Swepston, Robert Swepston and Wanda Delong; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Swepston.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Seitz (Randy) of Londonderry, Faith Swackhammer (David) of Jackson and Dwane E. Swepston of Kingston; his grandchildren, Kaci Mavis (Chris), Evan Seitz (Olivia), Tyler Swackhammer (Jessica), Brandon Swepston (Sarah) and Holly McLeland (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Jaxon Swackhammer, Cain, Khloe Mavis, Grahm Swepston and Annie Mae Seitz. He is also survived by family members and friends.
