He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Merriman and Mabel Merriman (Blaum); his sister Marjorie Hayhurst; and his grandson Jason Barnes. He is survived by: his spouse Carroll Ann Heintzelman; his children, Jennifer Shroyer of Colorado, Leslie Merriman-Barnes (Dale) of Gainesville, GA and Brian Merriman (Susan) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Harley, Jazmine, Sunshine, Casey, Amy, Leah and Anita; his nephews, Frank (Becky), John (Brenda) and Mike (Kim); and his niece Kristina. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
