He is survived by: his wife Marcia Pittenger; his children, William A. "Bill" James of Kingston and Kimberly K. Sexton of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Crissie L. Gibson, Jack J. Woods (Geneva), Brett A. James and Alley Ray (Corey); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Hill and John Pittenger (Barbi). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
