She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin D. Higley and Mary Margaret Mavis Higley; her husband Raymond H. Poole; and her sister Marlene Collins. She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Woods (Daniel), Lori A. Orr and Mary Jane Shanton; her grandsons, Wyatt Shanton, Reed Shanton and Luke Shanton; her great grandchild Hadley Sue Shanton; and her brothers, Paul Higley (Bobbie) and Frank Higley (Bev). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to the Ross County Humane Society - 2308 A Lick Run Road - Chillicothe, OH 45601.
