He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Margaret (Newsome) and Silas Richard McComas; his son Ronnie McComas; and his siblings, William, Jerry McComas and Elizabeth Craft.
He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Godfried of New Mexico; and his sister Sandra Hardway of New London. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
