He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezella Hale (Parsons) and Lawrence G. Hale Sr.; his brother-in-law Keith Bailey; and his niece Heather Reed. He is survived by: his wife Louise Shupe Hale; his children, Allen Hale Jr. of New London, Jenny Kimble (Richard) of New London and William Lawrence Hale of New London; and his siblings, Rhonda Kilgrove (Mark), Larry Hale Jr. (Michelle), Gwen Bailey and Kenneth Hale (Learose). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
