He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon W. Barrell and Mary Barrell; his granddaughter Krista Barrell; and his sisters, Bonnie Denny, Joanne Krause and Sandra Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Verna Hansel (Brad), Mark Barrell (Christy), Michael Barrell (Trina), David Barrell (Teresa) and Mary Yanko (Mark); and his siblings, Larry and Marla Kimble (Vernon). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions and the continued health of the community as well as the large size of Vernon's family, a private family.
