With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Sahlin of Logan, Ohio, born in Macksburg, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Whetstone and Bonnie E. Fleishman; her former husband Kenneth P. Eveland; her husband Vernon R. Sahlin; her son Mark B. Eveland; her stepdaughters, Barbara Moore and Catherin Sahlin; and her siblings, Lloyd Whetstone, James Whetstone, Harold Whetstone, Paul Whetstone, Opal Harper, Edith Warne and Mary Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Eveland (Pam), Jan Flynn (Brian) and Cinda Wilson; and her stepchildren, Michael Sahlin (Ngan), Joseph Sahlin (Amy), John Sahlin (Kristal), James Sahlin (Amanda), Mary Israsena, Patricia Ryder, Teresa Pullman (Dennis) and Carole Adams (Billy). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
