He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Shelton and Flo Guess (Champ); his siblings, Leroy Guess, Dorothy Martin and Betty DeLong; and his son-in-law Christopher Fetherolf.
He is survived by: his wife Leatha Mae Guess (Simonton); his daughters, Karen L. Fetherolf, Kim M. Conley (Jeffrey) and Shelley L. Mouser (Michael); and his grandchildren, Kendra Fetherolf, Kristen Robinson (Joshua), Jessica Edgington (Rock) and Cameron Mouser. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
