With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard W. Dewey of Logan, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Dewey and Mary Louise Dewey (Holbert); his wife Jacqueline Matthews Dewey; his daughter Sharon Cordle; and his siblings, William Dewey (Bill), Philip W. "Sunny" Dewey, Mary Ellen Foster and Lena Bell Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth W. Dewey and Vicki Lynn Wright; and his sister Judy Dewey of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
