She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Sloan; and her grandson Jeffrey Remnant. She is survived by: her brother Fred Black of Logan, OH; her sister-in-law Jean Ann Black of Logan, OH; and her children, Virginia Sloan of Gainesville, FL, Barbara Sloan of Washington, DC, Bob Sloan of Waukee, IA, Betsy Remnant of Boulder, CO and Dee Stegeman.

Although Marjorie loved flowers, she would have been pleased that, instead, memorial gifts be sent to Alzheimer's Association (NPH Research), 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL, 60601 http://www.alz.org, or New Life Community Church, 45 N. Fremont Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
