She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafe Junior and Betty Ruth Barnett (Moore); her son Richard E. Cooper Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Barnett and Ruby Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald L. Cooper of Caldwell, Melanie Hacker (Richard) of Rockbridge and Angela Benham (Robert) of Logan; her daughter-in-law Brenda Cooper of Logan; her grandchildren, Megan Vorhees (Jacob), Christian Hacker (Josie), Brady Hacker (Gabriela), Adrienne Hacker, Jozee Cox (Lucas), Aaron Cooper (Caitlin Perkins) and Kaitlynn McGrath (Steven Malenfant); her great grandchildren, Rilee, Darrin, Karlee, Carter, Amayah, Lauren, Parker, Magnolia, Ivy and Jaxx; and her siblings, Patricia Spangler (Terry) of Logan, Edna Gordon (Charles) of Logan, Lafe R. "Rick" Barnett (Dee) of McConnelsville and Darren Barnett of Rockbridge.
