It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Jay Thrush (Logan, Ohio), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Sierra D. Thrush; and his brothers, Patrolman Carl "Shorty" Thrush and Harley Thrush. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Thrush (Bush); his children, Thomas Jay Thrush of Logan and Carly A. Begley (Kristopher) of Logan; his grandchildren, Lauren R. Begley and Ava E. Begley; his siblings, Terry J. Thrush of Logan, Kay Wilson (Harold) of Logan, Martha Goldsberry of Mattoon, Amy Swart (Ed) of Union Furnace, Nyla Vollmer (Ken) of Haydenville and Laura Vickroy (Alan) of Bremen, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Bush (Dee) of Logan, Jim Bush (Karen) of Logan, Jon Bush (Cindy) of Logan and Patty Coakley (Bill) of Logan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made in Larry's name payable to the Starr Township Volunteer Fire Department in care of Gene Armes, 19577 Loomis Road, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
