He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Lura McBroom (Lytle); and his daughter Suzette Sparks Hall. He is survived by: his wife Sue Marguerite McBroom (Prater); his children, John W. McBroom of Orlando, Michael E. McBroom (Megan) of Whitman, MA, Nancy E. Holcomb of Logan, Susan E. McBroom of Granville, Anne Stoughton (John) of Lancaster and Jacky Jones (Greg) of Logan, Ohio; and his friend Mary Ehlermann. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
