She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Later and Grace Later; her husband Ralph D. Canan; and her brother-in-law Ralph Hacker. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gobel (Dan) of Laurelville and Debbie Hampshire (Steve) of Rockbridge; her grandchildren, Ami Carmon (Jim) of Bexley, Tami Bell (Lance) of Rockbridge and Sommer Barham (Dan) of Nolensville, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Hanna, Lauren Carmon, Coby, Caleb, Owen, Lilah Bell, Daniel and Jonny Barham; and her siblings, Earl Later of Rockbridge and Eula Hacker of Logan.
