He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shufeldt and Mary Ellen Shufeldt; and his sons, Christopher and Peter Shufeldt. He is survived by: his close friend Kay Fortner; his children, Matt Shufeldt (Molly), Debbie Starkey (Duane), Laura Shufeldt, Pat Shufeldt (Holly) and Jami Shufeldt; his grandchildren, Miles Shufeldt, Madelyn Shufeldt, Brandon Wharton (Jasmine), Cory Wharton (Hollie), Austin Starkey, Khloe Pekar, Jayme Jones (Jason), Joshua Nigro, Micheal Nigro, Nicole Blackburn, James Blackburn, Patrick Shufeldt Jr., Joseline Wyat (Jacob), Tyler Basil, Zane, Zephyr and Saphira Shufeldt; his brother Philip Shufeldt (Carolyn); his nephews, Christopher, Philip Jr. and Jeffery Shufeldt; and his niece Wendy Lawson.
