He was predeceased by: his parents, Hade Blanton and Beatrice Wyskiver Blanton; and his wife Ruby Nixon Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Donald Blanton (Marilyn Ellis) of New Lexington, Cathy Newlen (Dave) of Dublin and Lisa Lawrence of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Carla and K. J.. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
