He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald D. Lightfoot and Leora Jean Lightfoot (Foreman); his grandmother Mona Melher; his son Samuel Dane Lightfoot; his siblings, Donald Eugene Lightfoot and Lisa Lightfoot Burnside; and his grandparents, Wilbur and Claire Lightfoot.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angella Lightfoot Naasko (Joel) of Circleville and Nina Lightfoot of Flint, Michigan; and his brothers, Anthony M. Lightfoot (Adele), Phillip Lightfoot (Patty) and Brad Lightfoot (Lorraine). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
