He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert and Norma Cruz. He is survived by: his daughter Nevaeh; his parents, Greg Adkins and Darla Adkins; his siblings, Amanda Palestrant (Jason), Tiffany Adkins and Tyler Adkins; his stepsister Heather Cruz (Justin Smith); his grandparents, Edna and Seiburn Perry; and his nieces and nephews, Issiah, Eliana, Noah, Logan and Kylie.

Family is requesting donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
