He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Hollis and Glennus Annette Swaim (Pinkelton); his wife Erma Jean Swaim (White); his son Graham Howard Carpenter; his brother Raymond Eugene Swaim; and his grandson Kevin Michael Geil.
He is survived by: his children, Brigette Kay, Leslie Michelle Geil (Ron) of Logan, Jackie Mascari (Sam) and Jeff Carpenter (Kim); his grandchildren, Bryan, Jason, Samantha, Brandon, Matthew, Michael, Graham and Jaci; and his great grandchildren, Quinton, Maci and Willow.
