He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard and MeriLou McLain (Carr); and his brothers, James R. McLain Jr., Scott Blythe and Kevin Blythe.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe B. McLain (Lanette) of Lewis Center, Ohio and Susie Hall (Robert) of Logan; his stepmother Dolores McLain of Logan; his sister-in-law Ginny Blythe of Logan; his aunt Carol Troccia (Robert) of Bremen, Ohio; his close friend Maggi Berry; and his pet Miracle. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
