He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. "Jack" Dougherty and Winifred Rathburn Dougherty; his grandson Troy Cook; and his brother Edward Dougherty. He is survived by: his children, Nick Dougherty of Logan, Fred Dougherty (Nita) of Logan, Michael Dougherty of Marion, Daniel Dougherty of Logan, Patrick Dougherty of Logan and Sherry Troxell of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, David, Andrea, Shannon, Tawnee and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Riley, Macey, Gracie, Emma, Ella and Kamden; and his sister-in-law Nancy Dougherty of Logan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
