He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde I. Hynus and Ida Estella Hynus (Cannon); and his in-laws, Harley and Alberta St. Clair. He is survived by: his wife Marcia J.; his children, Matthew Hynus (Joy) of Logan, Ohio and Heather Carpenter (Matt) of Terrace Park, Ohio; his granddaughters, Jordyn Arms (Chandler), Madison Hynus, Riley Castle (Jordan), Grace Hynus, Claire Hynus and Josie Hynus; his great grandchildren, Abel Arms, Baby Arms, Layla Castle and Crue Castle; and his sister-in-law Barbara Deeds. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (60 W Hunter St, Logan, OH 43138). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Knollwood Cemetery. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the same location.
