It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Brooks in Logan, Ohio, born in Belle Center, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas M. Brooks and Mae Brooks (Mains); his grandson Scott Brooks; and his siblings, Bill, Walter, Ernest, Emory Brooks, Helen Brooks, Lois Jenkins and Katherine Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Doris A. Brooks; his children, Steve Brooks (Peg) of North Carolina, Keith Brooks (Cheryl) of Florida and Susan Green (Bart) of Huntsville, OH; his grandchildren, Keith Brooks (Dawne), Shawn, Jesse, James Brooks, Jennifer Slusher (Brian), Elizabeth Fox (Steve), Jaime Tucci (Nick), Carrie Connelly and Ryan Weber; his great grandchildren, Kitty Brooks, Zachary Slusher, Jordan Slusher (Brooke), Kyle, Allison Fox, Ashten Richards, Kayla Richards, Macy Green, Karis and William Connelly; his great great grandchildren, Hayden and Jaxon Slusher; his stepgrandchildren, Nick Green (Tori), Dustin Green, Austin Green and Jessica Rohrs (Mitchell); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Henry Rohrs, Kayleigh and Aaron Green; and his sister-in-law Sharon Bickham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
