Emma Josephine Proctor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025, at the age of 97, Emma Josephine Proctor of Logan, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schmelzer and Emma L. Schmelzer (Leibig); her husband Harry Douglas Proctor; her son-in-law Patrick Gall; and her siblings, Rita Wolfinger and George Schmelzer.
She is survived by: her children, Marian Kay Gall of Logan, Ohio and Stephen Ermin Proctor (Cheryl) of Logan, Ohio; her grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter (Clint), Aaron Gall and Olivia Proctor; and her great grandchild Alayna Carpenter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (60 W Hunter St, Logan, OH 43138). A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (351 N Market St, Logan, OH 43138). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery - Logan Email.
In lieu of flowers, the Proctor family suggests donations in Jo's memory may be made to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.
