With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Jean Moore of Logan, Ohio, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Jean Moore to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Harris and Gladys Boatright Harris; her husband Roger V. Moore Sr.; her siblings, Delmer Harris, Thelma Morgan, Phyllis Holcomb, Audrey Chute and Sarah Eberts; and her nieces, Natalie Glenn Nutter and Sue Carmean.
She is survived by: her children, Roger V. Moore (Kathy) of Haydenville and Letha Conner of Nelsonville; her grandchildren, Stacy Venrick (Philip), Stefan Conner (Andrea), Erin Fraunfelter (Shawn), Beth Frear (Troy), Chad Moore (Stephanie) and Brian Moore (Jackie); and her siblings, Roger Harris of Logan, Jim Harris (B. J.) of Amhurst, Ken Harris (Betty) of Somerset, Dean Harris (Robin) of Rutland, Elwood Harris of Logan, Rose Hubbard of Lakeland, Katherine Vollmer of Haydenville and Teressa Glenn (Carey) of Logan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. and 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. Please observe all COVID-19 guidelines by wearing a mask and social distancing while in attendance.
