She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Bessie Smith; her husband Clyde James Beck; her son-in-law Edward Gries; and her siblings, Olive Green, Martha Morris, Robert Smith, Charles Jr. Smith, Jeanette Anderson, Winifred Coryea, Margarette McKee, William Smith and Donald Richard Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Shumate (James), Peggy Gries, Carolyn Richardson (Glenn) and Sandra Smith (Charles); her siblings, Kenneth Smith (Debra) and Ellender Maschino (Dale); her grandchildren, Eric Shumate, David Shumate (Lori), Todd Shumate (Olivia), Richard Harris (Angel), Tracy Smith (Scott), Ryan Gries (Crystal Beneker), Theresa Bailey (Robert), Sheila Henderson (Richard), Brian Richardson (Gail), Ethan Smith (Diana), Justin Smith (Denise) and Clarissa Powers; her great grandchildren, Amber Gygi (Jordan), Erin Root (Sean), Brandon, Brittany, Madison, Morgan, Robyn, Troy, Riley, Own Shumate, Faith "Niki" Harris, Allen, David Chandler, Megan Roth (Sean), Raegan, Ray Beneker, Angus Gries, Nathan, Andrew Bailey, Taylor McDonough (Nick), Ross, Faith Henderson, Jack, Alaina, Karaline, Agnes Richardson, Casandra, Kayla Joe, Justin II, Katelyn, Hannah, Lucas, Matthew, Emily and Jeremiah Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Ellie Gygi, William, Wade McDonough, Holden Burdwell, Brenna Smith, Kristopher, Xander, Braylee Chandler, Oliver, Jasper and Colton Roth. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
