She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Charles and Christena Sophia Kilbarger (Daubmire); her former husbands, Edward Wright Carpenter and John Jacob Krannitz; her son Gregory D. Carpenter; and her siblings, James H. "Smoke" Kilbarger, Phyllis Nye and Marjorie Layman.
She is survived by: her children, Michael E. Krannitz (Ellen) of Raleigh, Edward W. Carpenter (Mary) of Lancaster, Ohio, Christina M. "Tina" Maguire (Jeff) of Logan and Mary T. Fannon (Ron) of Logan; her siblings, Edward F. Kilbarger (Ann) of Logan, Rose Adair (Alan) of Courtland and Julia C. Kilbarger of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Amy, Nick, Abby, Bess, Jason, Jessica, Jake, Luke, Taylor, Kayla and Cassie. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
