He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Calvin and Frances Waveline Poling Derr; and his children, Michal David Derr and Lisa K. Derr. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Lynn Derr Huddy of Logan; his grandchildren, Lynsi Elizabeth Huddy of Logan and Nicolas David Huddy of Logan; and his siblings, Myrna Gabriel (Jerry) of Logan and Gerald L. Derr (Connie) of California.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, December 28, 2020, from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. Please follow all Covid-19 guidelines by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing when in attendance.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of David L. Derr to the Hocking County Humane Society, 36960 Hocking Drive, Logan, Ohio 43138.
