He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred and Wilma Marvelle Nelson (Rogers); his former wife Jeanette Louise Nelson; and his daughter Joan Louise Dunn-McCaslin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Nelson (Miccoli); his children, Julie Pepper (Matthew) of McConnelsville, Kitty Hausfeld (Tom) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Daniel Simpson (Kimberly) of San Diego, California; his grandchildren, Ellen King, Laura Graf, Isaac, Samuel Pepper, David, Emily Dunn, Jacob McCaslin, Aria, Remi Simpson and Jack Hausfeld; and his sister Barbara Guzzo (Lee) of Dublin, Ohio.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
