She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Melbern and Mildred Walter (Kennard); her husband Max Roland Dawley; her daughter Brenda Dawley-Brown; and her siblings, Charles, Bob, Clayton, Larry Walter and Jean Hawk.

She is survived by: her children, Darren Walter Dawley (Charlene) of Rockbridge, Ohio and Lynn Dawley of Logan, Ohio; her grandchildren, Lauryn Brooke Dawley of Logan and Steven "Parker" Brown of Columbus, Ohio; and her son-in-law Steve Brown of Logan.
