He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert and Audrey Alice Frasure Sr. (Helber); his sisters, Connie S. Porter and Bonnie R. Potts; and his brother-in-law Gene Porter.
He is survived by: his son Nelson Ray Scott (Kimberly) of Logan, Ohio; his brothers, James E. Frasure Sr. (Joyce) of Logan, Ohio and Woodrow L. Frasure (Brenda) of Logan, Ohio; and his brother-in-law Ronald L. Potts of Logan.
