She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Sylvester and Margaret Esther Freeman (Fox); her husband Jack D. Emrick; and her stepdaughters, Teri Nay and Jackie L. Carpenter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
