He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Mattingly and Irene Carol Nash Mattingly (Erb); his daughter Angela Zuber; and his siblings, Maureen Kay Zuber-Kelley of West Salem, John Andrew Mattingly of Wooster and Pamela Andrea Mattingly.

He is survived by : his daughters, Tammy Cox (Richard) of Mansfield and Theresa Hyder (Rex) of Lodi; his grandchildren, Rex, Trent Hyder, Heather Smith (Leah) and Aliesha Hamrick (Tom); and his siblings, Connie Tarvin of Barberton and Mark Mattingly (Brendi) of Mansfield. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
