He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alice Potts and Casper Potts; his brother David Potts; his sons, Robert and Jeffery Potts; his stepdaughter Rosanne Gilles; his wife Frances; his sister Sue (Don) of Creston; and his stepchildren, Tom (Kim) of Chippewa Lake, Loren "Ron" (Nancy) of Wadsworth and Maryellen (Ian) of Peebles, Ohio..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's honor to The Village of St. Edward Foundation, 3131 Smith Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
