He was predeceased by: his parents, Glyde Meek and Edith Meek (Pratt); his wife Darlene Meek (Brubaker); and his siblings, Earl, Lester, Lee, Alice (Aldrich), Harriett (Yothers), Loyd, Harold, Willard, Lucille (Trunk), Claire, Edith (Pandur) and Doreen (Mapes).
He is survived by: his children, Douglas, Doug Meek (Leah), Dennis Meek and Diane Dickinson (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Sarah Jamison (Andrew), Bethany Meek, Owen Dickinson and Kendall Meek.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chatham Historical Society.
